On September 9, 2024, Former BL Stores, Inc. (formerly, Big Lots, Inc.) and each of its subsidiaries (collectively, the "Debtors") initiated voluntary Chapter 11 proceedings in the U.S. Bankruptcy Court for the District of Delaware. The cases are pending before the Honorable J. Kate Stickles and are being jointly administered under Case No. 24-11967.
Pursuant to an order of the court dated October 6, 2025 the following case names were changed to reflect certain Debtors' change of name from Big Lots, Inc. to Former BL Stores, Inc.
Pursuant to an order of the court, effective as of November 10, 2025, the Chapter 11 Cases have been converted to Chapter 7 of the Bankruptcy Code, and Alfred T. Giuliano has been appointed Chapter 7 Trustee.
On September 9, 2024, the Debtors filed a motion (the "Motion") with the Court seeking entry of an order, among other things, approving (a) procedures for the solicitation of bids (the "Bidding Procedures") in connection with (i) the proposed sale of substantially all of the Debtors
