DG Liquidation, Corp. (Diamond Glass)

Diamond Glass sought Chapter 11 protection in April 2008, listing assets between $10 million and $50 million and liabilities over $100 million.

The Kingston, Pa.-based company said it filed for bankruptcy to address a heavy debt burden.

Founded in 1923, Diamond Glass had more than 1,600 employees in 217 service centers and 900 mobile installation vehicles over 42 states. It claimed a 7% share of the $3 billion to $3.5 billion annual U.S. auto glass replacement market.

It sold its assets for roughly $54.6 million at a bankruptcy auction in June 2008.

The unsecured creditors committee was represented by Cozen O'Connor LLP.

The case is In re Diamond Glass Inc. et al., case number 08-10601, in the U.S. Bankruptcy Court for the District of Delaware.
