Benefit Plan Administration
Dana Roach at GMCO administers and terminates employee retirement plans sponsored by companies that have filed for Chapter 7 bankruptcy. This effort includes coordinating the final distributions to plan participants, filing IRS Form 5500s until plan assets reach zero, engaging and assisting plan auditors, and overseeing retirement plan professionals engaged to assist with plan terminations. She regularly communicates with plan participants and retirement plan professionals, and communicates with the Department of Labor (DOL) and Internal Revenue Service (IRS) on an as needed basis.
